A = sounds like the "A" in "father" = mapa (Ah)

E= sounds like the "E" in "get" = elefante (A)

I = sounds like the "I" in "machine" = criminal (E)

O= sounds like the "O" in "obey" = poco (Oh)

U= sounds like the "U" in "rule" = música (Ooh)
